mbc....since the upgrade when one clicks on a picture you can no longer increase the size of the new popup window by dragging the lower right corner as you could before.....i used to increase to max so i could 'reuse' the same window for all the pics i viewed......

i have my browser set to 'reuse' windows on pop ups.....when i click a picture (after the 1st) it doesnt open a new pop up window, it simply replaces the 'old' picture with the 'new' picture.
this 'feature' still works......
what stopped working was the ability to drag the lower right corner to increase the size of the pop up window (or decrease).....in the options at the top right all that remain is 'close' and 'minimize' the 'maximize' option is turned off (at least on my ie6 browser).
this is not something the user controls but is controlled at your end....

I thought it was me, still ain't sure, but for two days everytime I hit the "post message" button, absolutely nothing happened, finally today I un-installed AOL and re-uploaded it, set all my preferrences and signed on, everything's working now, so I thought I fixed it, now it's anybody's guess, but so long as it's working now, who cares?

Quoting: MrBigCuckold it was very very strange bug. I clicked on a link from a post in one of the forums, it took me to someones myspace page, almost immediately after clicking on a pic I got a notice of a trojan horse that was attacking my system, that's why I had to do the restore.

mbc.....the 'drag' to increase window now works just like it always did, thanks......
the ability to 'reuse' the already open popup window is gone still however.
if i click a picture now a window pops up and i can increase/decrease size by dragging as before. if i click another picture it opens a new popup window rather than re-using the already open window like it used to before the upgrade... (my ie6 browser is set to 'reuse' on the 'advanced options to enable this). it's not an important matter but it uses up bandwith to constantly be sending code to open a new popup when all that is needed is to send the data for the picture....
thanks again however for your concern and one h*** of a wonderful website....

mr mbc.....most excellent....everything is like it was before.....thanks.....
ps.....reusing the windows makes it work faster at our end and saves you bandwith by not having to constantly resend the window, header, etc info to the user to view the pics.........

I had the same problem as MoMary above, in that I was unable to post messages. I am on AOL too. However, I have cleared the cookies from my PC and uninstalled a programme my son had downloaded and now everything is working fine.
