I understand your kind attempt to reconcialiate the concepts, but why insist if Missy doesn't like that word and all that is behind it, mentally...? Is there a "word fetishism", Vanilla Thrilla ? The pronoun "slut" is not a "term of endearment" to most girls I know...it can be used without arousing anger or resentment for sure...and most of us girls call each bitch and slut and worse. But I always draw the line at being called a slut...probably cause I am not one. I do want to say....the term slut in here does not cause me any problem....it is just a word....like bastard, prick, cucksucker, motherfucker and others. I come here for a variety of reasons.....and I come often and then infrequently but I always come in at least once to twice a week to read what has been posted. No need to go on with the controversy over the name "slut" it has no real importance to me. Actually, I am in Europe but visited Florida twice...first Miami, Everglades, Key West and that all, then much later Orlando and surroundings, including Cape Canaveral...great memory...if only I had known...

Yeah....Lake Harris is connected to a bunch of lakes....in fact you can go all the way out to the ocean from Lake Harris if you wish to....nice lake...not real deep....but does have some good sunbathers on it.....on the docks and the boats,,,,aligators will swim out in the middle of the lake though...so you have to be careful....such as it is.....MISSY

I think that people who don't eroticize status relationships often pathologize feelings that they themselves do not have. It could easily be flipped around. In the living world, the energy/materials dimension is the food chain and the province of ecology. The information dimension is sex and reproduction, and it is the province of evolution. The two dimensions always intersect, but still, some bodily organs are clearly associated more with one dimension than the other, as are some behaviours.
In all animals, social status arises mainly to manage reproductive access, as best I know. It is related to territorialism, which is related to resource holding power, so there is a food connection, but this resource holding power is exercised and advertised by the "fast" sex (usually males, whose contribution to reproduction lasts seconds to minutes) to gain access to the "slow" or choosy sex, who can make a big deal about considering her options, playing males off against each other, manipulating them, allowing some to hang around in vain hope of satisfaction etc.
In some social systems, particularly when fertility becomes year-round instead of seasonal, there might be powerful, powerful reward systems that would keep low-status males as the helpmates of high-status females. The alpha males might ignore the helpmates since there would be no threat to dominance, but once in a blue moon, the help-mates might get their own sperm to sneak into the egg. This slim, tiny chance might be their best chance at having their offspring born into a higher caste, with survival benefits.
I suggest to you that if this fetish was based in childhood trauma, we would see a lot of variety in the fantasies, captions and pics people contribute here. We don't. The scripts are basic, there are several variants but they are mostly similar, and people never tire of enjoying them again and again and again, constantly re-creating the same scenes. Sorry about that last post. Having read a bit more of the thread, I can add that it seems as if a few things are going on. ogrim, you seem not to understand the pleasures of abjection.
