They used to have that as a requirement but there was a simple hack you could use to get around it. I download from megaupload every day on a constant basis and I don't have the download bar.
The problem with rapidshare is that you have to wait two damn hours before you can download anything else.
Arguing which download site is the best is an endless argument that I don't want to waste my time on but it's widely agreed that Rapidshare is the worst due to the long wait between files.

I don't give a shit one way or the other but Rapidshare does have a strict limit that is kind of a pain.

There's a way to bypass the "two damn hours" problem. If you have dynamic IP address on your pc (as usual in a home pc), just restart your system after the first download and you'll get another IP address, so rapidshare don't recognize you and let you download as the first time....try it
